Forged in flames, BLOWN's music is a concentrate of brutality nourished from the heaviness of metal and the raw power of hardcore destroying all in its way. These five musicians have the ability to combine technical riffs, mid tempo parts, and destructive "mosh" segments all of which are accompanied by breathtaking lyrics. Their music is a clever combination of influences such as Born From Pain and Hatebreed (to name a few). With a debut album « Spreading Seeds » (Condor Records/Disques Office. Switzerland) acclaimed by many alternative media and having done very well sales wise in Switzerland. Considering that this album was only distributed throughout Switzerland's hardcore/metal scene, proves once again that the band has an enormous potential. Many venues are still shaking from the band's live appearances trough Switzerland, Germany and France, with openings for such bands as Nostromo (CH), 25 Ta Life (USA), GFK (CAN), Prejudice (CH), Unfold(CH), Cataract (CH), Darwin (NL), Unhold (CH) or even Born Dead Icons (CAN). Their onstage performance has earned them a very solid reputation for a great live show. |
