| Dear friends ...To tap new frontiers, seek depth and to be afloat, that's how we might depict our intense and exciting last few months. It was the time that brought us to "Gold Cut" and it's finally done. What took its start with the end of "Loess" is now completed, our new album is finished! Up until May we were still busy doing vocals, mixing and arranging the mastering. Once again we were grateful to confide in the support of Serge Morattel (Knut, Shora, Prejudice, Tantrum a.o.). Nadja Stoller lent us her enchanting voice for one track. For the mastering we were lucky to engage Nick Zampiello (Isis, Converge, Unsane, Pelican, Scissorfight u.a.) who did a great job. The 9 tracks clocking in at 52.18 minutes got that distinctive Unhold sound and we're happy and relieved that we were able to catch all those moods and layers we were seeking out while writing the songs and all that energy, those wishes, tears and bliss got captured in the production of "Gold Cut". Es war die Zeit auf dem Weg zu "Gold Cut" und es ist vollbracht. Was mit dem Ende von "Loess" seinen Anfang nahm ist abgeschlossen, unser neues Album ist fertig! Im Mai waren wir noch mit den Stimmen, dem Mix und dem Mastering beschäftigt. Dabei konnten wir wieder auf die Unterstützung von Serge Morattel (Knut, Shora, Prejudice, Tantrum u.a.) zählen. Nadja Stoller hat einem Stück ihre wunderbare Stimme geliehen, für's Mastering konnten wir Nick Zampiello (Isis, Converge, Unsane, Pelican, Scissorfight u.a.) verpflichten. Die 9 neuen Songs mit ihren 52.18 Minuten haben ihren Unhold Sound erhalten und wir freuen uns, dass wir die Stimmungen und die Schichten, die wir beim schreiben gefunden und erreicht haben, alle diese Energien, Wünsche, Tränen und Glückseligkeiten auf die Produktion von "Gold Cut" übertragen konnten.
